‘Good first game’ ends in 2-1 loss for Preds
Russian-born Leo Savin, a 16-year-old forward, signed his contract earlier this summer with the Niagara Predators. Savin netted the team’s first and only goal of the game in their season opener, a 2-1 road loss to the St. George Ravens.

Spectacular month for tennis at NOTL club
Hot on the heels of the tennis event for the Canada Summer Games, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Tennis Club held its annual men’s and women’s tennis tournament. I think it is safe to say that our club has never seen such a spectacular month of tennis.
