‘Good first game’ ends in 2-1 loss for Preds

Russian-born Leo Savin, a 16-year-old forward, signed his contract earlier this summer with the Niagara Predators. Savin netted the team’s first and only goal of the game in their season opener, a 2-1 road loss to the St. George Ravens.
