Man found without vital signs, 2 arrested in St. Catharines

After police and paramedics responded to the scene, the man was later pronounced dead

At about 8 p.m. on Monday, April 10, Niagara Regional Police were called to a home in the area of Louth Street and Pelham Road in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a man with injuries. 

The police news release says officers responded along with paramedics and located an adult male without vital signs. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

A short time later, two male suspects were taken into custody.

This remains an ongoing investigation by detectives with the major crime unit. Further details will be released when appropriate to do so. 

At this time, detectives do not have reason to believe that there is an ongoing threat to public safety.
