Perfect day for Bunny Trail, Kinsmen egg hunt in NOTL

Families gathered at the Niagara-on-the-Lake community centre Saturday morning for a successful Bunny Trail and Kinsmen Egg Hunt.

With Easter coming a little earlier than usual, indoor activities at the annual Niagara Nursery School Bunny Trail fundraiser were a welcome attraction early Saturday morning, allowing the sun to work its magic outside in time for families to move outside for the Touch a Truck event and the Kinsmen Egg Hunt.

The bunny trail was a "huge success," says Niagara Nursery School director Laura Townsend,

“We’re thrilled the weather was on our side — we had a spectacular turnout. We’re appreciative of everyone who came out to support the event and contributed to our fundraising goal.”

Townsend thanked the NOTL Kinsmen, volunteers, donors, local community groups and the staff at Niagara Nursery School and the community centre for their help making the day a big success for the fundraiser.

“It’s so nice to see our event has become an annual Easter tradition for many families in our community — a great way to come together and celebrate.”

The NOTL Kinsmen were on hand to scatter almost 10,000 chocolate eggs for youngsters.
