A Niagara region resident has won big with a scratch lottery ticket, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. says.

Dale Gadoury of Grimsby won a $1 million top prize with Instant $1,000,000 Jackpot (Game #2423), the lottery corporation said in a release.

Instant $1,000,000 Jackpot is available for $20 a play, OLG said.  

The winning ticket was purchased at Avondale on King Street in Beamsville.
