Kate Wyatt Trio entertains the crowd at The Hare Wine Co.

Kate Wyatt, Adrian Vedaddy and Nick Fraser played some jazz standards and music from Kate's 2022 debut album Artifact and the upcoming new record Murmurations

The TD Niagara Jazz Festival's Twilight Jazz and Blues Series returned to The Hare Wine Co. Monday for the second installment of its 2024 edition, 

From Montreal, the Kate Wyatt Trio performed a set of music from their most recent album, Artifact, as well as the upcoming Murmurations, expected to be released this summer, with a couple of standards thrown into the mix. Composer and pianist led the trio on piano, with Adrian Vedaddy on bass and Toronto's Nick Fraser on drums. 

Juliet Dunn, who earlier in the day was at another winery, Henry of Pelham Family Estate in St. Catharines, to announce the upcoming Summer Festival details, performed an opening set of two classics with pianist Doug Mundy. 

The Twilight Jazz and Blues Series wraps up with a performance by Serafin LaRiviere, a jazz vocalist with a five-octave range that he applies to a combination of jazz, torch and classical music, on Monday, June 3 back at the same location. .
