Ken and Rose Bartel will be at the market, likely with fresh organic rhubarb.

The 2023 Farmers’ Market will open this Saturday, in its usual place in front of The Village.

Sharon Brinsmead, coordinator of the market, says the nearby construction won’t interfere at all — they don't work on weekends.

And there is lots of room for vendors on the pavement at the end of the parking lot, lots of parking, and picnic tables on the grass to sit and enjoy a meal, or coffee and some baked goods.

Past vendors are returning, new ones coming on throughout the season, with lots of local farmers bringing whatever is in season, and in addition to local growers and food producers, baked goods, jams, Sweets & Swirls with take-out meals, and breakfast and lunch options to eat at the market.

There will be crafters and artisans selling their products, fresh honey, plants, microgreens, jewelry, as well as bath, body and home items, and much more.

The market will run for 20 weeks, and is open Saturdays from May 27 to Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 111 Garrison Village Dr.
