Arenas buzzing for day one of the NOTL Wolves March Break Tournament

Four-day tournament wraps up Monday with semi-finals and finals in four of the annual tournament's six divisions

If the kids weren't in school on Friday March 8, they most likely weren't playing hookey, they were playing hockey.

Four days, 41 teams, including nine from Niagara-on-the-Lake, 6 divisions, 80 games, hundreds of hockey players and perhaps almost 2,000 parents, family and friends. Those are the numbers for this weekend's NOTL Wolves Minor Hockey Associaton's annual March Break Tournament,

Wolves teams are participating in each division, with one each in U9-LL, U9-MD and U15-LL divisions. A pair of Wolves squads are competing in each of the U11-LL, U13-LL and U18-LL dvisions. Finals for the U9 and U18 divisions are scheduled for Sunday, March 10, while the other divisions wrap up on Monday.

More to come from the NOTL Local as the tournament progresses.
