Niagara-on-the-Lake Local received this letter in response to the article titled 'Councillor isn’t giving up on new St. Davids pool' published March 22, and a letter to the editor on the same topic.
A recent letter-writer 'suspected’ that the pool in the Old Town is underused.
Admittedly, during COVID. that may have been true. My wife and I and many other residents were able to do lane swims and book the pool for family swims.
With COVID behind us, it’s important that the pools be up and running again as they provide great summer recreational and learn to swim programs.
