The Niagara-on-the-Lake Local received the following letter about a cat that was hit by a vehicle.
This past Saturday Aug. 5th On concession 2 in Notl a large white and orange cat (we feed and care for) was run over (as he waited to cross the street).
He was killed ON PURPOSE. You swerved. By a black fancy suv heading south. You were seen.
This was a despicable act of animal cruelty. He was a kind sweet cat that took care of the mice problem on 6 properties & visited us every day.
You are something I can not say here (a cleaning product).
