Police arrest woman believed to be in company of wanted man

She was found at her home in Thorold and charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent; wanted 28-year-old is still at large, police say

The Niagara Regional Police Service investigation to locate Juan Carlos Castro, 28, has been ongoing by detectives.

On March 25, at 3 p.m., Daniella Nettos was located at her home in Thorold. Nettos was arrested and is charged with the Criminal Code offence of:

  • Take motor vehicle without consent.

She was later released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date. The children are safe. The van has been located by police.

Castro remains wanted. His updated charges are:

  • Mischief under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with a release order (three counts)

His current location is unknown. Anyone knowing the location of Castro is asked not to approach him and to contact police.
