On May 25, Niagara Regional Police Service officers responded to three separate suspicious vehicle complaints in the area of Richard Crescent near Glavcic Drive, Shoveller Drive near Madison Crescent, and Matthews Drive near Montrose Road.

A police news release says a newer model black Ford Expedition bearing Ontario licence registration CLWS335 pulled into three residential driveways. The licence plate has been reported stolen from Etobicoke, Ont. and does not belong on the Ford Expedition.  A suspect exited the vehicle and knocked loudly on the front door. One break-and-enter can be attributed to this suspect. In the other two instances, the suspect left the area after knocking on the door.

It is believed the suspect may be seeking out residential homes for the purpose of conducting a break-and-enter.  Members of the public are asked to keep a look-out for the vehicle and if they see it, contact the Niagara Regional Police communications unit at 905-688-4111.

Those with information related to this investigation are asked to contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009483.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
