New images released of Niagara Falls armed robbery suspect

Police say that on Jan. 2, the suspect brandished a handgun and fled on foot with cash and cigarettes

Niagara Regional Police Service detectives assigned to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at a gas bar kiosk located in the area of Lundy’s Lane and Carlton Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls on Jan. 2 at 9:12 p.m.

The suspect approached a lone clerk who was inside a kiosk at the time, brandished a black handgun and demanded the clerk surrender currency and cigarettes. He then fled on foot.

Additional images have been obtained and detectives are asking the public for assistance identifying the man, who is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5’10” tall and weighing 200 lbs. He was wearing a black bandana, a black leather coat and gloves, and a grey hoody with the hood up.
