The Niagara-on-the-Lake Soccer Club hosted Brock University Badgers women's soccer head coach Carli Tingstad Friday for the first of four special pre-season training sessions at the Virgil sports park.
Tingstad was joined by team captain Grace Tawil as they went over some drills on footwork and other soccer skills with players from the club's U8 girls travel team (and a couple of their brothers).
Two more training sessions for house league players are scheduled for Sunday, from 10 a.m. until noon and from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. Participating players must be registered with the club. Registration is still open for some age divisions. Visit notlsoccer.ca for information.
